What We Do
As stated in articles 179-180-181-182 of the Code of Money and Credit, Al Mustathmer s.a.l.'s primary objective is to carry out, domestically and globally, all kinds of credit activities, both proprietary and clients, including electronic credit activities and many subsidiary operations such as the following :
1. Founding, contributing and managing funds; or marketing and advertising financial products for funds; or participating in collective investment companies, conditional upon obtaining the prior approval of the Central Council of BDL
2. Financial consultations and studies for individuals
3. Corporate finance and advisory:
- Raising debt & capital
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Project finance restructuring
4. Managing real estate properties
5. Assisting in the issuance of bonds and shares and financial rights, marketing them and ensuring their subscription
6. Providing spot operations and with term, future operations, options and exchange operations on all forms of derivatives or structured products relating to:
- Shares and all kinds of movable assets and securities including bonds and government bonds
- Certificates of Deposit
- Financial and commercial papers
- Foreign currencies
- Commodities
7. Executing operations on all tradable financial instruments
8. Managing financial portfolios and other movable assets and securities
9. Acting as a broker, agent, dealer, or in any other capacity on behalf of others and carrying out all financial and management operations involving movable and immovable properties, real and personal rights on the Lebanese or International markets, for the third parties' account in accordance with the Lebanese law
10. Assisting in capital raising and private placement services for governments, corporations and financial institutions
11. Holding and dealing with every form of security or collateral, including but not limited to, bonds, cash, debentures, insurance policies, letters of credit, mercantile documents, real estate properties and securities. Acting as a trustee, custodian or in any other capacity on behalf of others
12. Issuing, distributing and marketing all types of credits, charge cards and other types of plastic payment cards and all or any other activities as permitted under the Laws of Lebanon and authorized by BDL
13. Leasing operations
The company may carry out all operations related or complementary to its object stated above.
Al Mustathmer s.a.l. is the first Lebanese Financial Institution incorporating and managing Funds independently.
